Soccer Practice!

Today, I will be talking about my soccer practice. 

On Wednesdays, I have soccer practice. I am blogging at 8:30 P.M. because of it. It starts at 7, goes till 8, so yeah.

At this particular soccer practice, we did the classic game of keep away. It was 3 on 3 with 1 neutral player. We all waited in anticipation, and the coach blew the whistle. It's on. 

At first, Jonathan and I passed and moved through everybody. Then, we all came as a group, and pummeled  the other team with our agility and speed. Owned!

5 day weekend...

Today is the third day in a 5 day weekend! On Friday, school was cancelled because of a snowstorm, then on Monday and Tuesday, there were parent-teacher conferences, and there might not be school on Wednesday. 

I'm watching Good Luck Charlie right now on Netflix. It is pretty funny.

The failed attempt...

Today, I tried to make a Video Blog, but I had loads of problems. First off, I couldn't find a way to transport the video from my iPod to the computer, but even after I did, I had obstacles. My blog page wasn't letting me import the video clip, so yeah.

I had a sticker on my computer, but I peeled it off, so I will get a new sticker of some sort soon. 

Why'd the chicken cross the road? Why wouldn't he?

I'm not gonna link my Twitter or YouTube today. Deal with it!

Warm Bodies!

Today, I went to the New strand movie theater, and saw Warm Bodies! It is a zombie movie about a zombie named "R". He turns human at the end. It was good!

I am staying overnight at my grandparents condo. I am sitting on the couch with their dog Otto (palindrome!!)

I died, and Pi!

I was playing MineCraft 10 minutes before writing this, and I had a diamond sword and a bunch of stuff. Then, as you can tell by the title, I died!!! NOOOOOOOOO!

My grandparents!!

Today, my grandparents are here in Iowa City!! My grandpa and grandma live in Rapid City, South Dakota!  A 12 hour drive from here. In fact, both sets of grandparents (mom side and dads side) live in Rapid City!! I am at my grandparents condo right now, and I am blogging. My grandpa was planning a trip to Mongolia with both my sets of grandparents. It wont happen for a couple years, but I can't wait!

BOLD FONTS!

Today, I will be talking about Microsoft...

So, every Tuesday at school my class has Tech. class. Right now, we are using Microsoft Word. Basically, We get to play around with everything on Word. I have been using the BOLD FONTS, because they are AWESOME!! I basically just write down some words that have no real meaning in the universe, and change the font and text color. In other words, it is the funnest class everywhere. You don't have to do anything except click some buttons in the "home" ribbon for 20 minutes, and your good to go!

My mom talked to us about the idea of having a "no media" day every week, so now, I can't have media on Friday! Mom gave me the exception of having a small period of time to go on this website and blog, so I decided to have a new section on Friday called "Real life blog"!

I am going to a friends house for a sleepover right now, so I can't blog! Sorry! I will blog tomorrow, though!

Lincoln the movie!

Today, I saw the movie Lincoln. It is about President Lincoln's mission to abolish U.S. slavery. It is a very interesting movie, and it started quite a few history discussions in class in the past few days.

Also, today I also watched Beasts of the southern wild. I don't really know what it's about, so yeah. Just look up a movie review.

PIZZA!

Today, I will be talking about the Wedge. It is a pizza place in Iowa City, and It's considered the best (by me)! I had the Wedge today, and I wanted to talk about it. They have really good service, for cheap!

Also, I wanted to talk about Pizza itself. It originated somewhere not in America, but I hate to Wikipedia stuff, so I wont. By the way, happy valentines day! Do not be forever alone! THINK OF THE CHILDREN! Anyway, PIZZA! It is a good, cheap meal that everyone can enjoy. But it doesn't compare to RAMEN! Pizza is about 25 times healthier, and about 8 times more expensive (2 bucks a slice versus 4 Ramen for a dollar)!

The word bored...

Today, I will be talking about the word 'bored', and the concept of being bored. I realize that I am bored a lot, and have blogged about it. So today I will be talking about what it really means.

I believe being bored means having nothing to do. If you have a computer that you use every day, you might find yourself bored because all you do is look at pictures of cats all day. Also, you might be bored because of the T.V. station. I'm over here. But the remote is over THERE. I'm BOREDDDDDDDDD!

One way to fix this is to shut off all your electronics for one day. For me, being a guy who blogs every day, that wont happen. But I limit myself to my blog, and then about an hour of computer time. 

If you play monopoly with your family, you might realize how fun it is, and forget to use electronics.

Media...

Today, I will be talking about how media has taken over our lives in a couple different ways. Enjoy!

First of all, social media. Our society is extremely consumed in our Facebook pages, so we forget to play outside and do regular things.

Next, Handheld stuff. Our iPods are more important to us than our Jobs in some cases. Smartphones are ruining our minds with all the new features they come up with. I am using my iPod touch right now. Awkward...

Finally, gaming. We spend about three hours a day on our Xbox's, and no wonder we get bad grades (By we, I mean everybody except me).

Tobuscus!

Today I will be talking about Tobuscus. He is one of my favorite YouTubers. He has several different series's, like Gaming, Vlogs, and viral video reviews, as well as a few animated videos. 

My favorite is his gaming. Specifically, MineCraft. He does pretty good at the game, and he does a good job of keeping you entertained, with MineCraft songs, like I can swing my sword, abut his diamond sword.

BORED!

Today, I want to clarify the fact that I am extremely bored, and there is nothing that you can do to make me less bored. Not even a million dollars can make me less bored, because I have stated a fact in which I can never get less bored, therefore me never being less bored, and me never getting a million dollars.

Why do you believe in god? Because the bible says so!

Why do you trust the bible? Because it's the voice of god!

Rant on Pi

Today, I will be ranting on Pi.

First of all, I believe that Pi (the circle constant) should be replaced by Tau (Pi *2). 

It makes sense. Pi is equal to half a circle with measurements, so Tau would be one full circle. It makes sense. Also, if you are using Pi singular, then using Tau over 2 would tell you something about what you are dividing by, so it is easier. Also, Tau is measured by the diameter of a circle, which is the only direct measurement. Pi is measured with the radius, so it is indirect.

DIAMOND ARMOR!

Today, I will be talking about MineCraft. Specifically, Pocket Edition. I recently found 4 diamond in my strip mine, and I've been duplicating it, so I have 4 stacks of 64 now. I would have a chest full, but my iPad died, and you can only duplicate on multiplayer. I made solid diamond armor, and tons of weapons.

I just did my math homework! SHOCKER! I did it because I have nothing to do today. EXCEPT THIS! Here is a riddle:

Test!

Today, I am gonna talk about tests. Specifically, the test tomorrow. In my class, we have a practice test tomorrow for American History. That is my worst subject. Anyway, if you ace the test, you can skip the regular test, and keep the ace. I am studying right now, because I hate taking test, so the fewer tests, the better!

One type of test I am really good at is spelling. I get like no words wrong at all. I like taking spelling tests, if only because they are so easy. My ability with words may have affected my decision to start this blog, because words are a big part of my life. Everyone's life. We use them to communicate, therefore without them, we cannot thrive in society, and cannot, well, communicate.

Catching Fire!

I just finished with Catching Fire on my other website: https://sites.google.com/site/theadamdailyblog/ In that website, I do daily readthrough's of my favorite books. I am now 2/3 done with the series, and I am super excited!

I am watching YouTuber's React right now. It is a series by TheFineBros where they take famous YouTuber's and show them viral videos, then record their reaction. It is pretty awesome!

Aside from that, I haven't been doing much today. Just sitting around, reading and stuff along those lines. I learned a DragonBallZ phrase today: OVER 9,000!!!!!!!!!! You may or may not recognize it. One thing is true; I don't know what it means.

Sleepover!

I am at home. I'm sorry I didn't blog yesterday. I was at a sleepover, and I didn't have my computer on me. Anyway, I think I will tell you about the sleepover. 

First things first, there were 5 people there. 5 11 year old boys. That means video games. We stayed up until about 12:30 playing MineCraft: Pocket Edition on our iPod's and our iPad's. We are 11. No iPhone's. Yet. We watched movies while playing, so the movies didn't get much attention. Then, we went to bed. We woke up at 7:00 A.M. and went outside. We played Nerf, and I never got shot. The game was simple. 2 teams. Everyone has 3 hearts. You get shot, you lose a heart. I never got shot. Yayyyyy! After that, we just hung out on a creative MineCraft server, and our parents picked us up. 

I am supposed to have soccer practice today, but the place where we practice is closed this weekend. So I am bored right now.

At Home...

I am at my house right now. I am sitting on my dining table. I just recorded a fake radio segment on my iPod. I played piano, and I met Justin Bieber. I have no plans to ever meet him. I am a fan, but not a big one. I'm not one of those people that get the I <3 Justin Bieber posters, and hang them in my room. NO WAY!
